RedShelf Launches Beta Version of Independent Adoption Tool

RedShelf Adopt to provide freedom of choice for campus administrators and professors

CHICAGO (May 10, 2018) -- RedShelf, a leading provider of digital learning materials, has launched a beta test of RedShelf Adopt, an independent adoption tool for campus administrators and professors to facilitate the course materials adoption process in a single platform.

The beta version of RedShelf Adopt was teased at CAMEX 2018 and is being tested with a select group of independent campus bookstore partners. A full product launch of RedShelf Adopt will occur in September 2018, including feedback incorporated from current beta test partners.

“We pride ourselves in taking our partners’ feedback seriously and always acting in their best interest,” said RedShelf CEO and co-founder Greg Fenton. “We heard concerns over the limited adoption tool options available in the market, so we’re answering with a solution that gives campuses the freedom of choice.”  

Through RedShelf Adopt, professors are able to curate lists of required course materials, including RedShelf titles as well as additional academic products, to seamlessly share with campus administrators. Professors and administrators will also have the ability to:

  • View and edit adoptions

  • Manage terms, including the ability to upload a past term’s adoption list

  • Email directly from the platform, with customizable rules to help streamline communication to specific groups
